Key Areas of Accountability:
• To manage OPD consultations.
• Overall responsible for diagnosis and treatment of OPD cases, emergency cases, infectious and paediatric cases like TB, RTI, STI, viral infection.
• Admitting general patients in the hospital considering the limitation of general beds.
• Regularly check on medical supplies (medicine, dressing materials) and treatment records of OPD.
• Will be responsible for referral of general patients for admission and maintain required procedures.
• To do minor surgery for general patients at the OPD.
• Work in a team with other Doctors if necessary.
• To keep liaison with medical representatives as per organizational rules.
• Supervise and monitor Medical Assistant and OPD staffs in patient management and guide them to develop skills.
• Attend training on TB & Leprosy as per organizational need.
• Make and maintain proper documentation (treatment booklet, emergency register and referral) and register on patients management.
• Make requisitions for medicine, medical supplies or repair.
• Supervise and monitor maintenance of registers and work procedures in the OPD.

Key Areas of Accountability:
• The initial assessment of all ICU admitted patients under the CCM department and advice for investigation and treatment as per clinical need.
• Provide emergency management at ICU including emergency resuscitation.
• Record all the assessments and reassessment in patient’s Medical records.
• Follow up patients with adequate treatment under supervision of the Consultant whether they can be discharged or transferred to other departments.
• Advice investigations as per hospital rules and as advised by the departmental Consultants and ensure.
• Ensure the necessary referrals and communicate the opinion of specialists to each other.
• Check the dosage, frequency, route of administrations of all medications, considering all precautions.
• Take part in surgical procedure and dressings of patient when needed along with the Primary consultation.

Key Areas of Accountability:
• The initial assessment of all admitted patients under the emergency department as per hospital policy and advice for investigation and treatment as per clinical need.
• Provide emergency care at emergency room, including emergency patient resuscitation.
• Record all the assessments and reassessment in patients Medical records.
• Follow up patients with adequate treatment under supervision of the Consultant whether they can be discharged or transferred to other departments.
• Ensure the necessary referrals and communicate the opinion of specialists to each other.
• Advice investigations as per hospital rules and as advised by the departmental Consultants and ensure.
• Check the dosage, frequency, route of administrations of all medications, considering all precautions.
• Take part in surgical procedure and dressings of patient when needed along with the Primary consultation.
• Give patient consultation as an outdoor medical officer for infectious and paediatric disease like TB, RTI, STI, viral infection.
• Review medical report for infectious disease and ultrasound and radiological reports.
• Refer to specialized hospital if needed.
• Advise in management of stock of medicines, medical instruments, and equipment.
• Keep the patient and patient’s family informed about the illness and provide appropriate explanations about the treatment to follow and counseling patients and their relatives on diagnosis and bereavement.

Key Areas of Accountability:
• Planning and Coordination with government and other implementing agencies to prepare work plans with clear objectives and achievement benchmarks, long-term and short-term priorities and implementation plan in regard to ICU management.
• Coordinate with implementing partner and other NGOs to strengthen the service of ICU in COVID-19 designated health facilities.
• Support implementation to strengthen the ICU capacity in Bangladesh.
• Ensure appropriate planning, design, Installation, Commissioning, Calibration, Quality Control, Service Tools, Training on Biomedical equipment as per manufacturer protocol.
• Provide hands-on training for Medical Technologists, Nurses and Doctors for critical care management at different health facilities.
• Ensure the safety protocols for Biomedical, Electrical & Mechanical hazardous issues as per national & international healthcare safety standards with the highest priority for the Patients, Medical professionals & professionals from other ancillary support services.
In consultation with Implementing partner, DGHS and other NGO’s update the guideline of critical care management.
• Support project manager on field implementation plans: need assessment.
• Identify the need of ICU to strengthen the service of ICU in COVID-19 designated health facilities.
• Support MaMoni MNCSP: Emergency Response to COVID-19 Pandemic team to purchase the logistics that are required for ICU.
• Preparing & Evaluating Technical specifications on biomedical equipment of different modalities.
• Coordinate and give effective technical support of immunization vaccination and certification with EPI.
• Perform actively medical examinations, radiological Imaging, laboratory testing, COVID 19 TB diagnosis treatment and referral to specialized hospital.
• Perform diagnosis by report review and treatment for COVID 19, TB and sexually transmitted infections and provide support to the HIV and counseling activities.
• Preparing & Evaluating Technical specifications on Biomedical equipment of different modalities.
• Prepare ICU and Oxygen clinical guideline with the help of DGHS and professional of BSACCPP

Key Areas of Accountability:
• Assist in the development and finalization of data collection tools and procedures.
Develop and finalize the SOPs.
• Liaise with the partners, collaborators, central team and local authorities.
• Coordinate total field implementation of the protocol.
• Supervise the field research assistant (FRAs) and Medical Technologists (MTs) in data and sample collection procedures.
• Manage the field staff and ensure logistics.
• Monitor quality and lead process documentation.
• Conduct regular data management and assist with drafting manuscript.
• Give patients health checkup and review medical report.
• Conducting health screening, medical assessment and facilitating referrals for Acute Conditions like COVID, TB or others infectious STI as per technical guidance and policy.
• Ensuring uninterrupted supply of medical logistics through daily checklist on stock status, organized listing in store and expiration period.
• Daily and periodic submission of detailed medical information into health databases ensuring confidentiality of beneficiaries.
• Liaison and coordination with hospital director and IEDCR focal person.
• Taking part in weekly/monthly coordination meetings, community outreach activities, training program and workshops as nominate by organization

Key Areas of Accountability:
• Coordinate and manage content creation and develop E-learning platform for rural health workers.
• Coordinate with content writers, content developers, designers and productive people.
• Assess need to conduct training session.
• Prepare schedule and module for training sessions.
• Regular and need basis training for rural healthcare providers to initiate and enhance the utilization of the E – learning platform.
• Coordinate with agencies, partner , NGOs and other stakeholders.
• Designing awareness campaign addressing modifiable MCH risk factors, with special attention to use of high dietary salt intake.
• Strengthening effective referral mechanisms for patients with Maternal and Child Healthcare services with follow up mechanisms.

Key Areas of Accountability:
• Research Concept and Protocol Development: Understand research protocol and plan to provide expected support to implement the study, check the quality of data, the data collection and referral process of the study.
• Clinical Management: Identify patients to enroll in the study; Carry out physical examination and record detailed patient history; Request and administer biological tests, Interpret test results; Consult and coordinate with other physicians and nurses for patient management; Follow-up as per predefined protocol to review response to intervention.
• Give patients health checkup, medical treatment and review medical report.
• Conducting health screening, medical assessment and facilitating referrals for acute conditions as per organizational technical guidance and policy in coordination with higher referral centers.
• Project Implementation: Take consent and enroll study participants; review follow up and trial supplement delivery; perform proper monitoring and evaluation to ensure quality research; prepare and keep records of participants enrollment/tracking, data and specimen collection and quality control reports; supervise data collection, specimen collection, time to time data compilation in order to execute activities in accordance with research protocol.
• People management: Prepare and present reports on certain cases, incidents, initiatives etc. Encourage team members to collaborate across areas. Address and resolve any diversity related issues; set goals and conduct appraisals for the team; set high standards and confront poor performance where needed; mentor young professionals and prepare them for higher responsibilities.
• Liaison and coordination with Upazila Health and Family Planning Officers (UH&FPOs), Gender Focal Points and relevant health partners.
